To be able to further achieve more progress on my map project, I upgraded to a new display drawing tablet.

I’ve really been enjoying the heck out of it and it has jump started my enthusiasm to keep going with this project. I should’ve sprung for the bigger one but with my current desk space set-up, it would not have fit.
I’m still trying to get used to the express keys but it’s been really fun though I still use my keyboard for other shortcuts that I’m quicker to press on rather than remember which express key I mapped that shortcut with.

This was the stand that came with the tablet. It was fine out of the box to use it right away just to see how it would feel. Quickly though, my wrist started to hurt and my posture was terrible, since this thing only sits at one angle. My posture is ALREADY terrible. So, this will only be reserved for a time when I might ever take my tablet out of the house, which is to say…never.
ADJUSTABLE STAND

I needed to get a new stand. This was pretty decently priced at $20 on Amazon. I also like that it’s mesh so that the tablet can have some airflow and not overheat as the office gets a little warm with my computer, lights and monitors all on at the same time. Overall this was a solid investment. There’s multiple angles that I can adjust it to and it’s a massive improvement.

This was a really great starter tablet to use. I think the main reason I had purchased this was for my full-time job. At the time, I was doing a lot of image corrections and design things that I knew a tablet would be good for. I had started my map project with this thing and it was good and fun to use but I knew I would need something more to continue on.
I’ll still be keeping this in my work backpack to use for my full-time job.
