Stardew Valley – Year 4 Experiment

I’ve been playing Stardew Valley for years but this is the first time I’ll be making a serious attempt at 100% but I wanted to try a little experiment with Year 4. During all of Year 4, I wanted to try and save a lot of the crops, goods and other things to sell until the last day of winter. Gather it all up and sell it ALL ON THE LAST DAY OF THE STARDEW YEAR! The only exception I made, was that if I needed money, I sold the diamonds I would get from the ten Crystalariums that I had inside the house. The money was then to buy more seeds that I needed or saved it up to add more buildings. It’ll be interesting to see how much a whole year’s worth of crops, artisan goods and miscellaneous items will sell for.

I guess when I mean 100%, I mean in-game achievements. I hadn’t really thought about the Steam 100% achievements. I guess if I get as far as to 100% in-game, it’s not much more to tack on Steam achievements. But if you are a player of the game, then you know the “Beat ‘Journey Of The Prairie King'” achievement is going to be a bitch to get. And then there’s that dreaded “Joja Co. Member of the Year” achievement that leaves me feeling dirty even without having to play for that one.

Stardew Valley in-game achievements list

My in-game achievement progress thus far. Here’s what I’m missing:

  • Complete the museum collection (argh >_<)
  • Cook 25 different recipes
  • Craft every item
  • Catch every fish
  • Ship every item

I’ve got a couple of Stardew posts that I had drafted and will probably post those before I get back to drawing out more of the Final Fantasy VII map.
