Woops. That’s really all I can say, honestly. Life gets away from you and in this case it REALLY did.
I’m trying to think back and remember what even happened this past year. The only things I can really think of are things I achieved in Stardew Valley. I had recently passed 1500 hours played on Stardew Valley. I’ve been doing different challenges/scenarios for myself, which has greatly expanded the replay value of SV for myself. Truth be told, I had NEVER attempted the Community Center Year 1 completion challenge before. I never thought of that as a play style I would ever attempt. But it’s actually been interesting and has challenged me in a good way.
Also, something else I think about, is that I still quite enjoy my job. It’s been over a year since I started my new position and it’s definitely challenged me professionally. Considering where I was before, where my professional growth halted and got stunted to the point where I had just plateaued. In contrast to that…each day at work now, I learn something new and I’m very thankful for that.
How’s my art coming along? Well, very few updates this year. Some that I neglected to post on this blog which is no surprise. BUT since I have a lot of PTO right now at the end of December, I’m planning on spending at least more than a day drawing stuff out on the Final Fantasy VII Map Project. Some of which will be in the next post. I have made significant progress even if it’s just mapping out where things go. Mapping out, eh?
PC Update
I’ve actually got an update on this. I bought new PC parts and will be putting together a brand new rig in the middle of January. I only need two more parts left to get but I’m hoping that it shouldn’t be too hard to get them. I’m pretty excited, as it should be an epic rig with better specs than my old PC cube. It’s served me well and now it’s just being used as a glorified music player and where I can do some light internet browsing. I don’t even play games on it at all. Which is a sad realization but considering my card is a GTX 960, that’s pretty damn old now. I’m very excited to get that built and get that up and running.
