Major slump in fact. Mentally I’m ok, just been busy with Life. Which is usually how it goes for most people.
Anyway, I think I’ve also just been tired and making excuses as to why I never want to set up my laptop to continue work on my Final Fantasy Map Project. One excuse being, there just never seems to be enough time during the day of any day to sit down, set up my station properly and get to work in Photoshop. Which leads to excuse #2, not enough room on my desk. Right now I’m set up for working from home with a work laptop, 1 monitor, my personal pc and another monitor as my work station. With all of those combined, there’s just simply no space for my art set up. I would need to take down my work set up to be able to accommodate that. I just can’t wait for the day when I move into a house with a better desk set up. A set up where I have a permanent station just so I can do art.
Excuse #3: I’ve been falling back to playing comfort and quick games because that’s honestly all the time I have at the moment. Stardew Valley and playing the daily challenges of Mini Motorways. That’s just enough to switch out my work laptop with my gaming/art laptop since I’m not using my tablet. These are games that are enough time to squeeze in before bed each day as an escape.
This is where my slump falls back on. Just life and time.
(I didn’t even publish this back when I started it probably 2 months ago…definitely shows how distracted I can get or it’s again, just Life.)
